Did I Do That? 10 Times Steve Urkel Ruined Everyone’s Lives On Family Matters
Cassie Lynn Nubbles is a rich, spoiled classmate and rival of Laura’s who first appeared on Making the Team in Season 3. She has shown jealousy and contempt for her and did whatever she could to ruin her. This was shown in Woman Of The People when she got her sidekick to photograph Laura and Steve in a compromising position. However, Urkel was able to fight fire with fire by having Eddie photograph him kissing Cassie in order to teach her a lesson that blackmailing people is wrong. Cassie Lynn does not win the election for Freshman class President and she was never seen again, presumably with her reputation tarnished.
Eddie Winslow
In season 7, Steve clones himself, and, as the family has barely become adjusted to the acquired taste that is Steve, the clone is not exactly welcomed by the Winslows. Thankfully Laura convinces Steve of this very thing, but she might have had ulterior motives because she uses this situation to her advantage by convincing Steve to turn the clone into Stefan, whom she is in love with. In this season 8 episode “Odd Man In” Urkel might remind viewers of another popular klutz from the ’50s who has a AmateurCommunity lot in common with Steve. Over on Family Matters, Eddie of course gets fired from the job but learns the value of doing his own work and Urkel learns that he should stay away from bleachers. The crux of the two-parter has Steve travel into space after NASA buys the patent for one of his miraculous inventions, hoping to test it out as the broadcast for the experiment is shown on national television. Unfortunately, it goes haywire and causes a satellite to crash, endangering Steve and the others.
On “Family Matters,” Darius McCrary played the charming, charismatic Eddie Winslow, the oldest of the two three Winslow children. Since “Family Matters” ended, McCrary has appeared injust about everything, including both TV series and movies. They range from the TV series “Freedom,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and “Anger Management” to roles in “Saw VI” in 2009 and “Houndz from Hell” in 2011. During that time, McCrary also did a stint on “The Young and the Restless” for two years, starting in 2009, alongside his “Family Matters” co-star Bryton James . In the period of time Prepon and Grace were rumored to be dating, Grace was actually enjoying an off-screen romance with Anne Hathaway!
Payton would appear in the final episode, but as a different character. Seven years after getting the boot from Family Matters, Jaimee Foxworth—the actress who played Judy—popped up in a film project … In 2000, under the screen name Crave, Foxworth began working in adult films. These days she’s raising her son and working on a book about being a child star.
Friends:
So he goes out of his way to “break her down.” Yet there is a woman who is just as attractive and interesting as Laura who does want to be with him and Steve runs away from her for basically doing to him what he does to Laura. It’s a hypocrisy played against Myra that seeks to only make her look like an unstable substitute for Laura. In one episode , the two are forced to pretend to be a married couple and Steve keeps trying to pressure Laura for a kiss. When Laura breaks down and snaps at him, she is framed as the bad guy because of poor, sad Urkel as his love for Laura.
Character Background
The police took everything from Myra’s room and pursued criminal charges. In the ending credits of the episode when she had Laura arrested for stealing her watch, Laura was arrested again for assaulting her. When she learned of his and Laura’s engagement, Myra continued to hold the torch even though he didn’t love her.
Like the rest of her family, she warmed up to Steve and accepted him as a true friend. Much like her father and her brother, Laura had a chance to see what it was like to walk in Steve’s shoes (i.e., getting yelled at for clumsiness and being a perceived pest), gaining a reputation of being a nerd. Although it has often been said in the series that Steve has a crush on Laura ever since kindergarten (when she supposedly made him eat Play-Doh), the first time that they are paired together is in the first season episode “Laura’s First Date.”
Similar to his brother Seth, Josh has made a successful career for himself around comedy. He starred in the series “MADtv” from 2002 to 2004, and appeared in a handful of comedy films throughout the remainder of the 2000s, including “Date Movie” and “Bruno” . Meyers joined “That ’70s Show” in its eighth and final season to play Randy Pearson, replacing Topher Grace after his departure. Unlike some of her other “That ’70s Show” co-stars, Mila Kunis has not been very active in the Hollywood dating scene, and is only known to have dated two people. At the age of 18, Kunis started dating “Home Alone” actor Macaulay Culkin.
Prepon is now a proud mother of two and wife to Foster, whom she married in June 2018. Briana Nicole Henry, who played Commissioner Jordan Ashford, is married to musician Kris Bowers. Before joining General Hospital, she played Esmeralda on Young & Restless. Bowers and Henry married in June of 2020 during the middle of the pandemic and thus had a smaller wedding complete with custom face masks to mark the special day. Bowers is known for composing soundtracks to series such as Dear White People and Bridgerton. General Hospital’s Kin Shriner, who plays Scott Baldwin, has been involved with actress Trish Ramish since 1994 when they met at her friend’s restaurant.
At the time of the show’s series finale “Lost in Space,” Steve and Laura were officially engaged to be married. When Myra learned about their engagement, she was furious and continued to carry the torch for him as he drifted off into outer space. The first was Myrtle Urkel, the cousin of Steve Urkel and a rich Southern belle whose infatuation with Eddie mirrored Steve’s infatuation to Laura. However, unlike Steve, Myrtle never respected Eddie’s personal space and kept pursuing him much to his extreme terror.
As a nerd, he gradually grows to become an inventor and soon, his ill-conceived inventions form a large bulk of the accidents which he does to the Winslow house causing Carl to yell at him. The focus is on Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow’s relationship during the course of the show’s 9 seasons. As a starting forward of the school team, it’s my duty to play round ball… I was on the bus on the way to day camp when all of a sudden my eyes started to water and I started coughing up all this green stuff.
Money has also acted and appeared in the films Truth or Dare and 2 Lava 2 Lantula. General Hospital leading man Jon Lindstrom met and fell in love with his wife, Cady McClain (best known as All My Children‘s Dixie Cooney) during their daily commute to work on As the World Turns, where they played Craig Montgomery and Rosanna Cabot. As the soap vet has gone from playing John McBain to Silas Clay to Hamilton Finn, a welcome constant in his life has been his beautiful missus. The actor and model wed in 2004 and have two children, Lilah and Jack.
This effectively makes Steve Urkel the most remorseless main character in the series. He has even admitted at least thrice that he’s fully aware of how much he burdens them, but doesn’t want to change anything because he’s comfortable with the way things are. During the first two seasons, he was friends with classmate Rodney Beckett. From the third season onwards, Eddie’s best friends were Waldo Faldo and Steve Urkel. Initially, his relationship with Steve – who considered Eddie his “best bud” and often affectionately called him “Eddo” – was little more than out of pity .
Steve Urkel changed the series forever, but he didn’t do so all alone. Jaleel White recently opened up about his relationship with one particular castmate that helped drive the series toward success. Yeah, obviously there are a lot of things unrealistic with it- like how he repeatedly ignored her very clear indications that she was not interested in him and never would be- and yes, that is a place he should back off. Singer Johnny Gill appeared as himself in three episodes (season two’s “I Should Have Done Something”, season three’s “Love and Kisses”, and season eight’s “Home Again” ). Steve pays him a rare baseball card to serenade Laura in order to impress her in the latter episode. After Steve tutored her in a class she was failing at in the episode “The Love God,” she gratefully offered herself to him sexually to which Steve declines.
